All power seat controls not working?

I just got a truck with a power seat, but I think that one of the switches isn't working. It's the up/down switch directly behind the little joystick. Can somebody tell me exactly what this one does? Thanks!

It tilts the seat forward and back. I had to go look at mine because I never use it

OK, the front up/down switch seems to do the exact same movement that moving the joystick up and down does. The rear up/down switch doesn't do anything. I hear a faint clicking when I move it though. The rear button works the lumbar adjustment just fine. Anybody know what might be going on?

the front switch moves the front only up/dn, the joystick moves the front and back of the seat and the back switch moves the rear of the seat This allows you to adjust the angle of the seat base. Does the whole seat move up/dn when you move the joystick? if it does, your switch is bad, if it doesn't then the actuator is bad.

Actuator must be bad then. What can I do to fix/replace it? Thanks so much.

Pull the cover and check the connector on the switch. When I first got my truck the lumbar wouldn't work and a week later the same switch you are talking about quit. I pulled the cover and the connector was working it's way off the switch, repluged it in and everything works.

Hopefully it's just a wiring or connection problem because the actuators aren't available separately, you have to buy the entire seat bottom.

I couldn't find anything in the Classifieds. Maybe somebody else can help?

I went to a junkyard yesterday to have a looksee, but the place was really ****ty. All the trucks were really overgrown with brush and I fully expected to come across a snake while trying to find my little power seat motors. Anyway, like I said, when you move the switch, you hear the motor make a single click sound, and if you watch it you see it jump just a little bit. But that's all. Y'all still thinking it's the actual motor?
