Hi ya'll, Got to looking at the vent selector switch today; it's been mushy feeling and wouldn't select except for sometimes in between markings around the ****. Noted some other posts on vacuum line problems so I went looking on my lunch break. Turns out the line at the vacuum pump was degraded and sucking flat. No problem. Cut some off, new clamp and...switch don't act any different. Well, rip into the dash, pull switch assembly out and come to find the little black box that's behind the selector **** where the vacuum lines come in isn't sitting down good. Looked like it had some lithium grease as a seal that was drying out also. Cleaned it a bit, regreased with some super teflon goop I got at the shop, put it back together and BINGO, we got a switch that's working crisply and the air blows where I tell it to. That things had me whizzed for two months and it took all of about 15 minutes to fix. Go figure.<br><br>Thought this might help,<br>Rob
