AC/Heat Blend Door removal
My blend door is sticking and not turning. The motor is fine. I have to manually turn the door with a wrench at the motor for cold or hot air.
I need to replace that door or see what's sticking. I can I access the door if I pull the dash out, but not completely removing HVAC box? Maybe just the top half?? Or would the whole box have to be removed?

Would you mind telling me where the blend door is located and what it looks like. I thinks mine is sticking too.

On the passenger side, towards the hump, at the very bottom of the big black HVAC system. There is a couple of wires running to a small motor. The motor shaft is vertical and held in by two screws. One is easy and the other is a pain in the butt.
I broke part of the blend door shaft that connects to the motor with my pliers. Now I must replace or fix it.
