ABS "clunk"
ABS "clunk"
A few days ago, I started hearing and feeling a "clunk" sound when hitting the brakes fast and hard. When applying the brakes soft and normal there was no problem. No lights and no codes. I checked everything on the front end and found no problems.
I started thinking about what the Dodge service rep said about my over sized tires causing the speedo to be wrong and the ABS to not work right. I removed the ABS/speedo fuse and the brakes worked fine. I put the fuse back in and the problem is slowly starting again.
Is there any way around this without spending the $81 for a speedo re-cal?
