Question How to reset fault codes?

Apparently at my last service, when I told the service writer about the codes, they failed to reset them.
Is that something I can do myself?

2 things:
1. Disconnect batteries for about 30 mins.
2. Some codes stay stored and you'll need an OBD2 reader to clear them. I think you can go to autozone (in U.S.) and they'll do it free in some places.
