99 outside temp sensor

99 outside temp sensor

having some troubles with the temp reading, jumping way high, then all over the place and sometimes reads SC, assuming it means it has a short. anyone know where it is so i can start tracin wires?

I think the 99 has it hanging off a radiator support, as opposed to the hood right behind the latch mechanism like my 2002.

Sorry, that's all I know.
