4wd indicator light?

Guys

Just one more question about the 4x4 indicator light, does it work when the actuator actually locks up the fork to the axle to connect it? Or does it work off the transfer case when you actually shift it into 4wd, my money is on the first guess... I just ordered a posi lock kit for my rig, so hopefully that will solve my truck issues..

For those of you curious as to what it is or what it does.. Here is the link... Thanks Paul!

thank you fellas!

The switch for the 4X4 light is inside the CAD unit itself. It is turned on when the collar slides over and locks the axles in. It does not work from the transfer case.

Yup, those vaccum actuators can go South from time to time. Many of them leak, but not enough to fail to activate. You can unbolt yours and test it with some shop air or a vaccum pump is even better if you have one available to you.
