Question 3rd gens seat in 2nd gen??????

has anyone done this, I am looking to make a change with the seats their a little tired after 200,000....

I have thought about this also. The main problem I see is the seat belts. I have a quad cab and the seat belt comes out of the seat. 3rd gen trucks would not have the belts in the seat. I do not think there are any 3rd gen quad cabs. However, it still might work for standard cabs.

well say i want to put after market buckets in my truck something with a little more support. how would i go about puttung seatbealts. in, any suggestions??

Chevy's prior to the newest body change. More comfy than Dodge seats anyways.

wil chevys bolt to dodge rails or would i have to make mounts for the chevy rails to bolt to the cab?

Someone on here put chevy seats in there dodge truck. The had to modify the brackets some. But for the most part they went right in.

for the most part can you just take off the mounts from the bottom of the seat (since the seat belt is attached to the frame) then rebolt those to your new seat. thats how i did it in my dakota anyways. dont know if it is different on the ram

i want top mount ... somehow some sprty ..ish bucket seats in my truckl, but the seat belt is holding me back, i dont want to run 4 piont harness and i dont want to weld in a cross bar to mount them to...
