2nd gen rockers...Replacing them???

how hard is it to replace just the rocker panels on these trucks! I really dont want to replace the whole cab if I dont have to. thanks

rockers on most vehicles arent that bad. i know you can get patch panels from LMC. cut them out, tack weld in new.
They sell a specific seam sealer as well.

LMC mag. is what got me thinking to just replace the rockers. I'll have to take it to a body shop and see what they say.

are you dealing with dents or bad rust. I sanded mine down due to rust and rock chips and I coated mine with bedliner. was alot cheaper than re-paint. but this was the whole side both sides. just a to consider

well so much for that idea. after looking with a body man it's been determined that I will be better off wiht a new cab. SON OF A !!!!!

well stop putting your finger in it. sorry to hear get some prices on that and see if it would be cheaper to get a donor from a junk yard. well maybe from southern MN.

no no no on anything from MN I'll be getting a cab here from ND or west or south or southwest LOL

...and wade I dont think I'll have the truck down there anytime soon LOL but yeah if i do your budy cna sure take a look.

All i know is this is going to be one HECK of an adventure for me as i have never attempted anything like this B4 ever....putting injectors and a turbo on is as far as I have ever gone....well and pulling my lift that I juat bought back and will be reinstalling one day

I just had new rockers, cab corners, and part of the floor replaced on my truck. Lookin new again. I gotta get some pics up!
