255/85/16 Dually tires

I found some at the tire store when I was kicking tires because the girlfriends Rodeo needed the studs put on. They look awesome compared to the 235/85/16's. Does anyone have them and would I just need a leveling kit to clear these or what? Rear wheel spacers?

as long as the have a section width of about 10.3 or less they will fit fine with no mods what so ever... Thats what I used to have on my truck before I changed gear ratios.

Only problem is if you load it real heavy the duallies will touch at the bulge in the tire by the ground, as long as its not touching a bunch it will be fine. I hauled a 3500lb or so camper in the bed with 255's with no problems for 3 years

255/85's are a real nice size to go with. Only problem is they're rare, expensive, and never come in a load range E.

i had them on my 1998.5 dually.

no spacers
no leveling kit.

looked much better than the small 235/85/16s. A small bit wider and a good bit taller.

you'll like them.

Have them on my truck. They do not rub even with 4400lbs in the bed. Don't know how they will work on a '95 though.

I can get them for REALLY cheap and my buddy at a tire store has a used set of 85% plus better set of 4 so if I do need to replace some I can. My 235's just don't like the snow and I run heavy equipment so I'm off road on frozen job sites and I worry about my differentials getting knocked by rocks.

But I drive a 1ton so the weight on the rears gets displaced amung both tires so load range E isn't mandatory. When I pull or have weight its hay or the horses and sometimes pallets of concrete but my old 91 with warn out springs in a 2wd with load range D's held a pallet full fine. So I'm not worried about it, but thanks for the impute
