Lukes links are nice for some people they work for others they don't. You mentioned about getting a retrofit kit to receive the 3rd gen track bar. Great idea. Only one hold up, If you plan to lift you truck and get an adjustable track bar "thuren" for example it doesn’t clear the stock differential cover not to mention if you have upgraded to a mag-hytec or comparable. If you want to lift the truck (even 2" level) stick with the 2nd gen setup. If you can leave stock go with the 3rd gen retrofit and never worry about your track bar again. Hope this helps.
