12pt Hub Bearing Bolt

Where is a good place to get a replacement bolt. The nuts at the Dealership want $19/change for one. That's just crazy.

Thats the only place your going to find them, I found that out the hard way when I needed to replace mine because the threads were worn.
Tried every nut and bolt place in town and nothing the same was found.

I second that- you may also shoot an email to Rockauto- I doubt that they list bolts, but maybe they can source them. I would definitely check junkyards first. www.car-parts.com may be helpful- you can source any junkyard in the US which is in their system. Saves driving.

I did a search, and it looks like most places such as Fastenal only carry std. ones. They are called ferry cap bolts if you want to try looking. Wouldn't a flanged hex bolt work? Or maybe an allan head bolt? I remember nearly screwin mine all up when I did my hub, they suck.

Its allen head bolts that keep my EMS kit to the knuckles. Infact, I probably have the old bolts kicking around somewhere, just no idea of where. I can't see why a socket head cap screw wouldn't be ok, just make sure its the same grade. Probably 12.9.
