Would you consider this swap??
I am looking at doing a swap with a friend to convert my DRW to a SRW and vice versa for him. He wants my rear axle and I am thinking that it might not be an even swap, but I want you guys to clue me in if I am off base.
Mine:
2002 Dana 80 off of a dually
83,000 miles
never raced
lightly towed
Has had an intake, exhaust and Edge EZ run though it at max
His:
2001.5 (disc brakes) Dana 70 off of a 2500 QC/SB
135,000 miles
races often (1/4 mile)(launches in 4wd)
lightly towed
Numerous mods, over 650 HP/1200ft lbs.
He says it's not anything, and I understand why he wants the D80, but I am thinking that the swap isn't quite even. Whaddya think??

Depends on how bad you want the D70. I wouldn't trade, but that is just me. There are single wheel D80's or people who converted their DRW to SRW. I would get a new bed and put some singles on it and be done with it.
