Won't Start
Buddy has a '98 3500TD - driving along the other day and it quit. Towed it home. Checked the lift pump and it was putting out about 5 psi. Replaced lift pump - new lift pump (stock) puts out 12 psi/8 cranking - no start. Fuel at the VP44 - fuel at the injector. Engine will run with gas rag at intake - no joy without. Truck has 160K on it. I suspect the VP44 has gone south :-(
