I have a 2002 Ram 2500 cummins diesel and yesterday it started to billow white smoke. It got so bad that the Police pulled me over. There is no loss of power. The oil needs to be changed but its full. The coolant level is topped off , so that eliminates radiator leaks.
What are the possible reasons for this??

 

keep and eye on your oil to see if it gets milky from a potentially cracked head or oil getting in from somewhere else... I've had it happen also but it was from water in my fuel, some fuel treatment with a top-up and all was good.
