Wheel bearings

I have a slight pull to the right and a passenger can feel a clicking in the floor board so I assume my wheel bearing is going out. I've called some of the local auto parts stores and they do not have them in stock and cannot order them. Please dont tell me I have to go to the dealer. Or is there something else it could be? I want to replace them anyways cuz at 203,xxx I am sure it needs it.

TIA

Take the bearings and seals out and get the numbers off of them, have the parts store cross reference them. Just make sure you are careful taking them out in case you have to reuse them.

On some models, you have to replace the whole front hub, bearings & all. Costs over $200 each. I think '99 was the last year with replaceable ft wheel bearings. Fords & Chevys are the same.

Is this truck a 4x4 or 4x2? 4x4 are available aftermarket from carquest, napa, ect as a hub asembly. 4x2 are not available and you will have to match numbers like I said before.
