At what PSI will the dealer replace a LP??

I have owned my truck for about a year and a half now. I installed guages the week I bought the truck. I have 13.5 psi of fuel pressure when the guage was installed. I now have 11 psi.

My truck is still somewhat stock, and under warranty. I am looking to do some bombing later this month.

What are my chances of getting my LP replaced, before the bombs drop? At what psi do they concider the LP on its way out?

As I understand it, the dealers now do a "volumn" test and don't do much with PSI from the lift pump. A lot of info here on other threads.

where are you testing the fuel pressure? before or after the filter? have you replaced the fuel filter? how many miles on the truck?

as stated in the above post the dealer is to perform a volume test per a tsb.

I have, a mechanical all the way into the cab, FP gauge plumbed into the fuel filter housing. Which would put the reading post filter.

My first thought was a dirty filter, so I changed out the filter this weekend. No change!!

The truck has 80k miles on it.

I am getting around 9-10psi running down interstate at 60-65 mph, and am getting ~7psi at wot. It is totally flat here. The closest inclination of a hill is over an hour away. All the readings are without a load of any sort.

I will give the dealer a call tomorrow and see what they say. I just don't want to strip the ez off and take it in and they say "sorry it's within specs"

There is a line from the filter to the VP that has a rubber connection. Remove the banjo holding this line at the VP and split the line where the rubber is. Put a piece of clear vinyl line, or fuel hose, on the line coming from the filter. Have someone bump the starter and the lift pump will run. Let the fuel run into a drain pan until it quits and then quickly put your thumb on the line to keep the fuel from running back. Have someone bump the starter again and this time let the fuel run into a measured container. You should have more than 1.3 liters in the 20 sec the lift pump runs. Anything less and it gets a new lift pump.
