what gears do i have?

I'm curious as to what gears I have.

2001 2500/slt 4x4 automatic tranny with push button overdrive.

it came with the 265 tires stock, i think i have an offroad package cause it has the 4x4 decals on the back corner of the box on both sides.

and my top speed is 185km/h

thanks!

On a 2001 the rear end ratio should be printed on a sticker inside the glove box door.

If your sticker in no longer readable...or missing, as was mine, you can get a "Build Sheet" from any dealer for free...just give him your VIN #. It lists all standard & optional equipment from the factory.
No off road package , I know of. There is a towing package...heavier springs, tranny cooler, 265's for tires and 8" wheels, etc. Nice to have! Also, maybe a HD transfer case...the dealers sheet will tell all.

If the sticker is worn like mine, I would say that you have 3:55 gears. I have the same truck and thats what I've got. I crawled under it and looked on the rear end.

It could be either 3:54 or 4:10. How many RPMS at 60 MPH, around 1900 it is 4:10, lower than that it is 3:54's. SNOKING
