Weird Speedo problem
Weird Speedo problem
Well I'm aware of the ABS/speed sensor on the rear axle causing the speedo and the ABS lights to come on.....but this morning I had something weird happen that I've never seen before.
On my way to work this morning I noticed that my speedo wasn't working. Usually when the speed sensor goes south it doesn't work till about 35mph and then kicks back on.........well this didn't work even at 65mph. Well about 6 or 7 miles down the road and the speedo kicked back on but was REALLY slow reading. I could mash the throttle and it'd take forever to get to the right speed and then coming to a stop it'd take a few seconds to come to zero......................anybody have any ideas??? I think I might buy a speed sensor just to see what happens, but anybody ever run into this?
Ohhhhh and the ABS and parking break lights ARE NOT on like usual with the speed sensor.

Ohhh forgot about that one.........hmmm I might have to check into that. I drove it home last night and everything seemed fine so I don't know what's going on. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks for reminding me of that other sensor Phox......I appreciate it man!!
