02DSLDOG, Mine idles at 750rpm. I just installed a high speed idle and have it set at 1150rpm for idling for running AC in summer and heater in winter plus other reasons for idling.
I start my truck in neutral and idle (slow & fast) in neutral.

Jack -<br><br>Have you noticed how much fuel is in the tank when this occurs? Mine will also "lope" when its below 2/3rds of a tank..The fuel pressure guage will also fluctuate 2-3 lbs when this occurs..I'm guessing its a mild pressure feed thing until it evens itself out, as mine will self correct after a few minutes. Its a big injector thing..

I'm leaning toward a pump issue because it never did this until the very day I installed the new lift pump, even though my fuel pressure never gets below 10 now, even WOT. The pump seems to be working fine. I'm not going to worry about it. If something dies, I'll tow it to the dealer and have them fix it.
