Water Fuel Seperator...
I do it every fill up. Some stations do not like you doing this at the pump..something about spilled fuel. I had one station tell me not to do it, so I switched stations and don't give them the bi-weekly $50.00 anymore.
we did a thread survey on h2o in the fuel and the thought they kept cumming up is it dose not happen to 98% of us ever. Now I am talkin not the old fuel ,,10 to 15 yrs ago- I think it was a 50/50 ratio
back then
back then
I did for the first couple of fillups when I bought the truck.
Never had anything come out, so I gave up.
I change the filter every 10K (I know, overkill, but filters are cheap),
and I drain the cannister into an empty coke bottle and let it sit to see if any water separates out.
3 filter changes (almost time for the 4th) and I've never seen as much as a drop of water.
