I swear
I know I shouldn't swear but I think my mind is playing tricks on me or I found something. OK, a while ago I took some needle nose vise grips and clamped off the hose that is hooked into the boost elbow into my turbo. Now either I clamped the wrong tube or my truck isn't acting up. I went out and my truck seemed better but maybe a little sluggish still. I can't tell cause im used to the EZ and had it unplugged. Anyway I come back and unclamp that clamp just to see and I took it back out. I swear I instantly noticed the boost go up a lot faster and it seemed like the whole truck accelerated faster. Now maybe its not acting up I dont know but Im going to drive it without that for a while and see. Am I crazy?
BTW, I ordered the noise filter today!

If I remember right with the hose clamped and the ez unhooked the computer will notice too much boost and defuel to compensate. With the ez hooked up it has a boost fooler so it will keep pouring fuel. Maybe someone else will chime in and see if I am up in the night.

You hit it on the head ramcummins.
If you left the hose clamped and unplugged the EZ, then your truck was doing what it was designed to do, defuel. If you left the EZ unplugged and unclamped the wastegate, then it's throwing in full fuel and not defueling. Plug the EZ back up and clamp the wastegate again and see if it becomes sluggish again. There's only only one line to clamp, so I doubt you clamped the wrong line.

I had the hose clamped on mine for a while, to see if performed better. I did not notice an type of defueling, had boost up to about 25-27psi. Is this an indicator of a bad MAP sensor?
