To determine if the Cummins Diesel Engine Limited Warranty has expired, you might want to read this (including links). There's quite a discussion in this thread. Or you can let DaimlerChrysler interpret the warranty for you.

Mine is an 02' with 91000 miles. Cummins warranty is out as of around last September. Not out on mileage, out on time. 5 years/100,000. Dealer ran my vin and said...."nope". So I'd say yours is out to. I bought an aftermarket warranty. Shaved about 4% off my interest rate and is paying for my in-tank pump and the VP44 I think the dealer is installing....although I cannot confirm this as I have not heard from the dealer.....except when I call???

Good luck with the in tank pump. I purchased the chrysler warranty for $1300, when I bought my truck and it did not cover the lift pump so I went with a FASS. It would have covered the injection pump though if I would have kept driving it.
Go figure a $300-400 pump or $1200-1300 pump, hummmm which way would I go if I was them?
