Extended Warrenty
Extended Warrenty
Just looking for some honest opinions on the available options for extended warrenty plans on a new vehicle. I have seen some posts regarding Scheduled Maintenance Care and it seems like a good deal. Please let me know if you have purchased extended warrenty packages, what they cost, what they cover, are they worth it and what you think of them now. (My sig details what I have on order)

Thanks,
Drafter
Re:Extended Warrenty
Just bought my truck tonight(last night)..somthing like that so it is fresh in my mind.
Seems Dodge has 4 options of the 7/70 bumper to bumper warranty.
Base plan includes 100 deductable (35/moX60mo)
Good plan has no deductable
Better plan has no deductable and includes a rental car
Best Plan includes a rental car and DC will pick up your overnight and meals if you are delayed while it is getting fixed...no deductable On a 60 mo loan this added 85 dollars a month (yes folks 5100 dollar option...I opted NO!).
36 mo b2b
7/70 powertrain
7/100 cummins
The expense of a b2b plan plus the "we will give you 5000 dollars if you vehicle is stolen and never found" plan for 1000 bucks left me with a could shoulder.
Seems like all they wanted to do is make more money...
So the basic warranties (free/factory included) were good enough for me.
