exactly the same, it wont start unless that light comes on. i changed the ecm and it works great. call bob wagner. he is on here.

Is the ECM the thing on the drivers side of the block below the intake manifold with a HUGE plug going into it?

What does a new ECM go for? I cannot imagine it is any where near cheap.
