I jost got my truck back from the dealer this past week, they replaced the Vp44 pump, everything seems to be working ok. The pump is painted all black, even the pump cover, i rememeber reading somewhere on the site about the painted black ones being remanufactured someplace other then Germany and that they are not built very well, can some one chime in with more information on this. One more thing, my BD pump cover now does not fit on the top of the Vp44 in replace of the stock cover, is there something different about these pumps? Thanks for the help
