I have been having fuel problems---I have removed all aftermarket stuff(comp and timing box) with the exception of piller guages. The truck is now stock but there is this wire coming off the top portion of the vp44---do you know what it is(sorry the pic is bad I will try and get another)--The vp44 seems to have two different connections---is it possible that one of my boxes was attached to this point.Is it possible this is causing my dead pedal problem?? I also bought today a cam sensor from cummins to see if that helps.

that's the TAP wire for the comp.I would tape it off. Are you having DP and getting the 0216? If so you will more than likly have to get a new IP to fix it.

 

Yeah, that diffinately a fuel box tap wire. And, yes, do you have any codes? Sounds like an IP problem.
