well i got my new (reman) vp44 on thursday,and started on it late friday afternoon. for some reason i didnt wake up till saturday around 11 am, but got up and finished it that early afternoon. i watched the video that i believe it was Diesel Dan had made a couple of days before doing the install. it was pretty straight forward. so far the "hardest" maintenance item ive had to do on the truck. i believe if you are decent with your hands, and have some tools, anyone can do the teardown and install. one thing i was amazed with was the added performance that i had lost with the old one. i didnt realize the gradual loss in power, except the continuous dead pedal that i had, and the hard starts. anyhoo, im pleased. i did curse that number 6 injector though
