Injector pump

Thanks for the reply, I will see what PDR (where I believe I'm having it done) has to offer. as for the F.A.S.S system about a year ago my lift pump bit it so..the FASS sys came with a 6 YEAR warr compared to a 1 YEAR for the regular pump.

Thanks again ,Redz

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Got my VP44 from Pensacola Diesel for 935. New LP also. Was not a CZ rebuild. All associated gsks-seals included.
Made 600 mile trip without any hitches.

blue chip pump

One nice thing that I forgot to mention about the blue chip pump is that they sell a pump computer cover with a tap in it to connect your fueling box to so you don't have to tap into the wire coming out and voiding your warranty. I know the blue chip pumps are more but if you need an HO pump your going to be paying a few hundred more anyway to start.

I ordered and just received the Blue Chip, low pressure warning light, and carter lift pump. I talked with both Blue Chip and MWFI, MWFI said they wound up replacing "most" of the computers with new but not all. Blue Chip replaces all with new, no questions, and also indicated they put more parts that are new in the build, add in the steel bushing they just sucked another $500 from my wallet. As a bonus Chip at Blue Chip was great to talk with while MWFI was just ok. I'll try and tackle install next week sometime. Good bad right or wrong I just love new parts.

VP44 dying

REDZ here

Had my injector pump done (and the seal between vacuum pump and whatever else) $$$ Can I expect any difference in performance, fuel consumption or any thing else? Was there something that was lacking as the pump was failing?

How important is the fuel conditioners/ additives?

Thanks ,Redz

The new Blue Chip VP44 and carter lift pump arrived right on time, installed and running like a top so far (only 500 plus miles). Smoothed out the slightly varying idle, no codes returning, more power, and a little improvement in the mileage (1 or 2). Let's hope the new computer and steel bushing make up the difference in dollars for the pump. Even got the idiot light for low fuel pressure, for $50 it seems worth the little effort it took to hook up.
