i was driving my '99 24v cummins the other day and out of nowhere i completely lost power. i pulled over and shut it off. turned it back on again and it cranks right up. now it idles fine but wont go past 1100 rpms. almost like its redlining at 1100. checked the engine light and pulled 2 of each code; 251, 252, and 1688. is there anything i should try before i go and burn a hole in my wallet for a new pump?
