So I have read a lot of vp-44 trouble and failures. What can I add to the fuel or anything I can to aid the life of the IP? Lift pump is only 7 months old and I've run 2 quarts of Lucas fuel additive in the last couple months, does anyone have any other tips or remedies up there sleave they would share?

 

Best practices are not to put canned additives in fuel for lubricity. Use Wally world 2 cycle oil at one ounce per gallon or biodiesel at 2%. Both are cheap ways to increase lubricity.
