valve body question

I did a transgo kit and went out 4 turns on the pressure and .096 on the lockup orifice. I can still shudder the converter. how far can I go on the pressure? I want to go to probably .125-.150 on the converter pressure but will upping the line pressure also help? will I need a resistor to the tcm?

You are at the edge of needing a resistor. I see you have a billet cover! I though that is the answer to slipping converters!!!! I'm just being a SA.
Maybe you have glazed the clutch already.

if i go 1-2-3 to lockup its fine its jumping on it in lock up, it chatters. and thats on the comp or dyno tune on the adrenaline. so can I go another turn out on the vb? Im definitely going up to at least .125 on the vb pressure

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Are you running with good ATF+4. Tranny needs more gonads to handle engine power. JMHO and converter clutch is probablly smoked.

um yes fluid is good. converter is brand new. obviously trans needs more "gonads" this is why I have a custom built converter and valve body, just trying to get pressures right.
so again, does anyone know how far out I can go on the line pressure screw? and if i go any farther if Im going to need a resistor the the tcm, and what kind and where would it go if I do

Put it together and read the line pressure and get back to us. By about 70 or so it will need the resistor, or a VR from Dtt.
