Valve Body Pressures
Valve Body Pressures
Does anyone know what their new valve body pressures are? I've been doing quite a bit of searching to use as a benchmark for adjusting my Transgo kitted valve body.
The only vendor that publishes their valve body pressures, (that I could dig up), is BD.
They have a chart which shows stock valve body pressures, (measured at the accumulator port), at 55-65psi in drive at idle, and 110-120psi in 4th lockup at wide open throttle.
They say their valve body changes the pressures to 90-110psi in drive at idle to 170-180psi in 4th lockup at wide open throttle.
My pressures before the transgo kit were 65 and 120. After the kit, (with the screw adjusted to 3 turns, 2 being stock engine and 4 being high performance according to the instructions), my pressures are 90 at idle and about 145.
