Vacuum pump oil leak

Well i had the seal between vacuum pump and steering pump start leaking. I ordered the fixinrams repair kit because it came with a video with step by step instructions for the repair(priceless for the novice repairman). Decided the leave the powersteering pump hooked up and just slide it out and set on frame. Removed intake tube that goes up to intake manifold gives room to move things around. Pulled the vacuum pump, rebuilt while watching video, good idea to have 2 metal shims so you dont bindup the pump gear when reassembling. Held down by frame, grabbed the powersteering slid back together, aligned shaft and bolted together. Took assembly slid back into motor and bolted up. No bleeding steering and no leaks. The video is pricless for a first timer doing this repair. Just used a few basic hand tools.

Talking Vacumn pump kit

Yeah, got my kit from Geno's Garage with the video, had it out, rebuilt and back in that afternoon. Awesome, no runs, no drips, no errors!
