turbo

i just took out my sillencer ring and noticed oil in my comp side of the turbo what would cause this and could it be the return line is cloged? how hard would it be to fix?

I seen oil in mine also when it was new. The dealer told me it was normal seapage past bearings and seals.
A little oil haze should be nothing to worry about. Oil running into your intercooler would be a problem.

Mine has it too, and if you have a K&N filter, over oiling will do it too.

Not a bad idea to clean the oil out of the tubes leading to the boot & inner cooler. I do it about once a year. I've had the boot slip off twice so since then I inspect & clean once a year.

Makes an odd sound when they come of under pressure doesn't it? Our 4BT did it to us a couple of time at max PSI going up a 6k' hill.
