i took the bafle or silince ring out of my turbo becase some guys told me it would up my air flow a little so does it hurt my turbo?

no it just makes it louder thats all.

As moneyman said, the only thing you gain taking the silencer ring out is more turbo whistle. As far as performance, fuel economy etc, you gain nothing and lose nothing.

Its true that with the HX35 and most of the 40's that the silencer ring does not add or take away performance. Other turbos and some of the 40's can show a slight performance change. Especially the MWE flavors.<br><br>Don~
