Hello there I have a 98.5 2500 24 valve and after I turn the key off the truck has kept running a couple of time what would be some good places to look at to see if I can solve this as cheap as possible.

Ignition switch would be my guess.

The 24V ISB uses the ECM to stop fuel to the vp44.

 

Do you have a "box" with EGT timer?

pull IC boot off and look for oil.
