My truck was doing the same thing and it was the injectors, they all had low pop open pressure

Was it as inconsistant as his problem sounds?
I would think (with no proir experience of course) that an injector issue would be fairly consitant in it's behavior?
Just a thought.

Took me 3 trips over 2 weeks before it would display the symptoms in the presence of anyone wearing a Dodge shirt.

It just kept getting worse and more frequent, then it finally did it as I was pulling into the service drive.

yeah it was extremmly inconsistent and I thought it was the IP and so did the dealer so it was replaced under warrenty and it was missing before I got home, took it back to the dealer and the injectors were tested and they all failed the pop open test, new injectors fixed it, the truck would miss only after it was run a while and the mis wasn't a constent miss it was kind of in and out with no pattern and no codes

I had my inj pump and lift pump replaced a the dealer and after that I got a miss a idle , no other time and no loss of power. I went back to the dealer and they replaced the injectors, no miss. Maybe dirty or faulty injectors are your problem. I tried red line injector cleaner for about 1000 miles and did no good. I got no codes after the miss started.

That sounds more like the "electrical noise" issue that's been plaguing everyone lately. DTT noise filter, clean the battery terminals and check ground connections. I recently had the same problem. The truck lurched like it was running out of fuel then ran fine. After an APPS reset and a DTT noise filter, she runs fine.

Truck is missing

My truck has been doing the exact same thing since I bought it back in June. It has slowly gotten worse and finally threw a code P0335 (crankshaft position sensor.) I purchased a new sensor, just havn't replaced it yet.

This miss sound exactly like the one my truck is doing.. Let me know if changing the injectors fixes it! Was looking forward to a set of 275's ,, really hope its not the inj pump, thats not in the budget for now! I'm not getting any codes either.

Sounds like the fuel pump is sucking air. You might have a pin hole between the lift pump and tank. My 93 model done the same thing, the O-ring in the plastic quick disconnect to the lift pump went bad. It barely sucked enough air to miss and it started idling low too.

I hope this helps.
