transmission or rear?
This sounds wierd but when I am truckin down the road and come to a left curve my truck will sort of downshift and when I stop at an intersection when I take off turning left it will rev and slip into gear sometimes multiple times? going around the roundabout in town it will rev up and downshift as well. What is causing this? TIme for a new tranny? Differential troubles?

My auto did that for a short time. I did a few things to fix it, so not sure which one thing was the culprit, but basically the trans filter pickup is on the drivers side, so check your fluid! I had low fluid (not by much, maybe a quart) a dirty filter, and a dented pan on that side as well. Fixing those things cured my slipping.

Ok so I am an idiot! I checked the fluid level in Park and I even knew better! Went back last night popped it in neutral and let it run a lil.. yup just a little low. Man I even checked it thinking that it would be low the first time! Thank god it was a simple fix and I hope I didnt tear it up!
