Mine never get above 160 or so, but my sender is on the pan.

I am talking about the temp of the oil exiting the transmission that is the temp that tells you how the trans is operating and what the temp is that the clutches are operating under. The pan temp is not able to be converted to a useable number to know the operating temp of the trans.<br>Bruce
