Just wondering if there is any easy to tell which gears you have in your rear end, as well as what tranny you have? My truck is listed in my sig, i'm thinking that it's an 47RE, but i dunno.

There is usually a metal tag on one of the diff cover bolts. Might even say it in your glove box.

 

You have a 47re..as for the rear end, under the hood where the lock(hood lock looking up) is you will see a white built sticker. on the left side of the stick it will either say 3.55-3.54 or 4.10 for the rear end ratio which is also in the front.

If you stop by a dealer parts department with your VIN#, they can print you a build list for your truck that will have everything it came with from the factory. They usually don't charge you for it.
