when I'm driving it's like having problems shifting. but when I get going it's okay until i hit 55 or 60 and it misses of gear and jumps back down to the gear it was in and the rpm's shoot way up. checked the tranny fluid it's at min when i add more will that fix the problem.

 

A buddy of mine had that happen to his 97 dodge. He had to replace the trans. The cost diff. between the parts vs the trans wasn't enough to worry about. He got his trans and did all the upgrades as long as he had it out. (shift kit and triple lock convertor.) Upgrades worth every dime spent !!

 

It's probably the torque converter locking and unlocking. Clean the battery terminals. Lots of posts on this problem.
