Today on my way to work I noticed that my truck wasn't locking in od! Tried my lockup switch and nothing at all! shifts perfect. no codes or check engine lights. just doesn't lock up the torque inverter?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When mine did that, the TC lockup clutches had shed.
Not what you wanted to hear......
You need to diagnose though whether it is the Solenoid or the clutches.

02,

Has it been "hunting" for OD or locking in and out? or is this a bam, not working at all?

There are a million posts on this. Start with a simple electrical survey and eliminate any bad grounds or electrical "noise" source.

That includes the most likely culprit, clean all battery posts/cables.

I've had this a few times and a post cleaning fixes it every time.

Cheers,

Taz

Put a pressure gauge on the transmission, and check to see if the pressure goes up, when it should be going into lockup. If the pressure does, then most likely it's the TC clutch itself. If the pressure doesn't go up, then it could be a govenor pressure solenoid, or govenor pressure transducer.

It has done the "hunting" for a long time tried fixing before with the groung extension fix at the apps sensor. did nothing, removed it. It would always lockup after the hunting at about 50. The tranny has a bd tc and valvebody.
I will try the posts and measure what I can.
Do you put the pressure gauge inline with the cooler lines or at the port on the side of tranny?
Thanks for the help!
