I just serviced my 99 and the tranny is still going into limp mode after it sits the nite. I replaced the governor pressure solenoid and the transducer while i was inside it. I did not adjust the bands, because I didn't have the right tools. But there is only 25,000 miles on it approx. I did have the TC problem with the locking and unlocking and did cleaned up all the grounds on the pcm and that solved that problem, and today while pulling my empty 2300# trailer it went back into limp mode again after it was running and shifting fine. there should not be any need to pull that empty trailer with the OD off IMO. The truck has a bypassed heat exchanger and a derale 25,000# gvw tranny cooler with a fan mounted on it. Thoughts ?
