are these the correct shocks
are these the correct shocks
I called tireclub and ordered Bilstein shocks.
Truck is a 2001 3500 4wd Stock height - they asked me if the truck was lifted and I said no.
They sent me Bilstein 5100's with specific part # 24- 185776 for the front.
Put those on this morning and they seemed a little long - all the black dust cover is wadded up when I bolted them in.
Looked this part # up on the internet and read these shocks are for lifted truck.
Will these work OK or do I need to take them back off and get different shock?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can answer this from their experience

According to the Geno's website, these can be used on a truck from stock height up to a 2" lift. But I've seen mixed reviews from people regarding how well they work on a stock height vehicle.
