Replaced the seal in my vacuum pump today. It did the trick. It wasn't the easisest thing to get at but it's done. Thanks to all the responses I got when I first posted.

One thing I did learn in the proccess was how to bleed the fuel system. Seems I hit the lever for the water seperator and start the truck and ran out of fuel to the pump. I got this info off this sight also.
