Terms and their definitions/slang

Trying to get a better grasp of the terms regularly used on this forum.

Injection pump...that is the VP44, correct? (fuel pump too)

Lift pump...?

Pusher pump...?

Thanks

You can get most of your questions answered by looking at the Tech Facts up top. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...n&onlynewfaq=1
The injection pump is a VP44 from 1998.5 through 2002. It could also be a VE pump, a P7100 pump or a CP3 as well depending on the model year.
A lift pump is a smaller pump that pulls/pushes fuel from the tank to the injection pump.
A pusher pump is usually an extra pump added to assist the lift pump (not 100% sure on this one as some people use the term pusher pump and lift pump indiscriminately).
