TC keep unlocking and locking

Hey guys. My TC feels like it is unlocking for a sec. and locking back up, the rpms jump also. It happen while in OD or D hot or cold at 50mps or so only at light pedal or cruise speed. I do have a lock up switch and it will not do it if switched to lock up. In the morn ill check fluid levels and wire conections on the lock up switch. I also changed the tranny filter 3-4 months ago. Any help thanks.

First --- slow down. 50 mps is real fast!!!!!
Just kidding, I know it is a typo.

Most likely this problem is electrical noise. It is from the alternator. DTT has a filter that cleans it up and other noises as well.
First you can try cleaning all grounds.
Do a search on it.

Did some searching last night and dug up some good treads. Drove around holding my brake pedal up with my foot, the TC still unlocked so i can rule out brake switch. I did find a loose ground at the bat. put a wrench to and it appeares to have gone away. If it acts up again ill look into the TSP sensor and running seprate wires to the ECM. LAst thing will be replacing the TPS.

Cleaning up the battery terminals usually looks after this

Cleaning the battery terminals is probably a temporary fix. Call DTT and get a noise filter, about $40, this usually takes care of it.
