T-stat bad?

Last week, I towed my 3500lb popup up a 6% grade that was about 2 miles long.

The temp gauge went a little more that the needle's width (maybe double) over the 190 mark then it would cool off and repeat. Is this normal?

Outside temp was about 90, AC was on, and speed was 65 MPH. This mountain was about 1 hour into the drive. The truck has about 10,000 miles on her.

Thanks,

Joe

Re:T-stat bad?

Sounds normal to me. Don't worry about it. Only be concerned if the temp starts going up and keeps going or goes up and stays very high.
