Question 180 stat help lower tranny temps?

Was wondering if anyone who has switched over to a 180 stat for their engine cooling. Notice if the tranny temp (auto) was lower. I'm thinking with the heat exchanger, the tranny would run cooler...

Thanks

Well, I plan on buying one to try. I'll post my results.
Was hoping someone already tried this, to compare my results.

I've heard that many times the tranny will run hotter becuase the fan clutch is not engaged, therefore not pulling enough air to cool transmission fluid running through the radiator.

Maybe, Maybe Not?
